HDTV reviews - The arrival of digital television has been the most significant advancement in television technology since the introduction of color in the 1950’s. The conventional analog TV display 480 vertical lines of information in an interlaced format, referred to as 480i or the standard definition television-SDTV. The DVD level quality is the same 480 lines only all of the lines are drawn on every frame. HDTV goes one level beyond DTV. HDTV reviews offers two formats-720p and 1080i. The 720p delivers 720 vertical lines whereas 1080i is interlaced but delivers more lines, 1920 horizontal and 1080 vertical. DTV and HDTV provide a six channel 5.1 digital audio. HDTV programs are broadcast in a 16.9 format with dolby digital audio. DTV broadcasters can send multiple digital channels with multicasting, which allow TV stations to broadcast multiple programs at once.
