Satalite the Vital Equipment

Satalite is an Important Means to Transfer Information Worldwide

There is a lot of talk about satalite services these days. Still we may not be very clear about what a satalite really is. While a natural satellite like Moon rotates around our planet scientists have devised artificial satellites to serve some crucial functions.

These artificial satellites transmit signals to different parts of the world. A satalite consists of two main parts the payload and the bus.

The payload has all the equipment necessary for its functioning. It consists of specific devices that may include camera, radar, antenna and such other equipment depending upon its function. As for example, a weather satalite has camera that could catch the pictures of clouds that may not be present in other satellite’s payload.

The bus on the other hand carries the payload of the satalite, holds the parts, and is the store- house of electrical power. It is responsible for its propulsion as well. Thus, we have satellites that bring us direct information from different parts of the world and have broadened the horizon of human perception considerably.
